My career and educational experiences meld together to create a reading experience that’s validating, nurturing, and empowering. I have studied tarot for more than 10 years and have been practicing professionally for the past 7+ years. I consider myself a tarot scholar - always seeking new understanding of the cards which are far more complex than meets the eye. I also have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and experience as a social worker and counselor, which I have found adds a new aspect to my readings. My background in social work has taught me how to hold space for, validate, and non-judgmentally interact with individuals and provide trauma-informed insight in readings. A major influence in my readings is that I am also a practicing witch and druid. My spiritual practice is influenced by both the ancient spiritual systems of the British Isles, as well as Pennsylvania Dutch Powwow, as they are a large part of my own personal heritage. I currently work full-time as a counselor and a supervisor at a rape crisis agency. As a credentialed counselor who offers therapy and empowerment counseling, I find my background in this respect adds a unique element to my readings. I hold both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in social work. In 2012, I completed Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training and Massage School. Before I became a social worker, I was a fully trained massage therapist and yoga instructor and worked as a massage therapist for several years and taught yoga classes on the side. Today, I live with my husband, Jon, who is an artist, as well as our dog, three cats, and foster cats (through Loving Care Cat Rescue!). When you choose my readings, I can assure you’ll receive a non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and healing experience that draws together elements and dynamics unique to my style. I weave together my background in tarot, druidry, and therapy to create a powerful experience that will leave you feeling empowered and as though a fog has lifted.
